Theology, Gospel, & “Self Improvement”
One thing that I just noticed (reading 2 Thessalonians), is that Pauls letters have segments/lines that can “improve the reader/self improvements”.
BUT, what is important is that he ALWAYS has Theology & the Gospel carefully woven into his letter. With the intent of ALWAYS teaching/writing “that of which is first importance” (1 Cor. 15:3).
That, I believe is the best way to teach/preach at the pulpit.
All these big name preachers are all about: -Self Improvement -Reaching your dreams -Living out your potential…
but the gospel and theology isn’t taught.
